Questions and answers
What is DarkTiger Tarot?
A site about the tarot: one page for each of the 78 cards, free lessons and spreads, a daily email, and the two printed decks the card art comes from, the Christmas deck and the Isis deck.
Can I get a reading here?
This site teaches how to read the cards: what each card means, how to read its picture, and worked examples that show a reader putting the words together for a question. The people in the examples are invented and the cards were chosen to teach. The site also sells the printed decks once they can be ordered.
Which decks can I buy?
The Christmas deck and the Isis deck are the two printed decks. Each deck page says whether it can be ordered yet. Until then, the button on that page opens an email to the DarkTiger inbox, where a person reads it and adds your address to the card-of-the-day list, with one note when the deck can be ordered.
Who prints and ships the decks?
MakePlayingCards prints each deck to order and ships it. You pay MakePlayingCards for shipping at their checkout. A damaged or misprinted deck goes to MakePlayingCards support within three days of delivery.
What are the Cat deck and the Pisces deck?
Two finished decks that are not printed. Their cards appear on the card pages. On their deck pages you can sign up by email, and the subject line names the deck. The email goes to the DarkTiger inbox, where a person reads it. Nothing is counted automatically.
What does the daily email contain?
One card a day: how to read its picture, what it means, its keywords and the longer thread behind it, with a link to the card page. It is free. Issues are not being sent yet; once the list tool is live, every issue will carry an unsubscribe link.
Why does a card have a different name in the Isis deck?
The Isis deck names each Major by the Egyptian figure on it: the Fool is Horus the Child, the Magician is Thoth. The page keeps the standard card name in its title so the card is easy to find, and says what the deck calls it.
How do I unsubscribe?
Issues are not being sent yet. Once the list tool is live, every issue will carry an unsubscribe link. To have your address removed from the list now, write to [email protected].
